I recently moved to Chattanooga TN to be near part of my family who like to get together.  I'm not able to attend the reunion as I have 2 big family events to attend.  Happy Birthday to all and to those who are attending the reunion, a good time.

Thanks for the update on our reunion.  Just to let you know that I will not be able to attend this 2022 Reunion.  Y'all will be missed and I surely hope you have success and lots of friendships revisited.  My health is great, and my heart is saddened but the traveling circumstances are difficult and and unpredictable.  It's been great all these years and I truly remember all the past memories at PHS and the reunions. God Bless ALL MY CLASSMATES!  LOVE YA!!!

Thanks for the wonderful write up (and included obit) about the death of our dear friend Diane Dearinger Erickson. Especially loved the group photo of her with some of our classmates at one of our reunions. That laughing smiles perfectly captured her spirit. When I saw the announcement for the 2022 reunion in August, I thought of how much she would have loved it and knew that either she or I would have contacted one another immediately to make plans to attend. We both were sad that last year's reunion needed to be canceled and were hopeful for a repeat soon. It will be extremely sad to attend without her next year but her death is a real reminder that we need to take opportunities to see and visit with one another. The quote on the front page of this web site says it all...the places hold the memories.

Wondering if you are considering cancelling  the reunion due to virus. Living out of town, we need to know if we need to cancel reservations at motel. Thanks for all you do. Hoping everything will calm down. Sinserely, Sarah

Hi, Mary.  I really appreciate all the work you and Art put into these reunions!  I wish I could attend, but it is a really long drive and I really hate flying. We now live in New Mexico.  I hope everyone has a great time.  I also like the work Joelle has done with the website. It is very sad to hear about all of our classmates who have passed on, but good to know.   Frank

To the organizers of this event:  I am truly impressed by the work and the quality of that work that you are investing in our reunion.  I missed all of the other ones for one reason or another, so I am really looking forward to this one.

P.S.  Looking at my old Annonas (Annonae?), I am struck by what nice people we all were.  It was a special time and a special school, wasn't it?

Who was your favorite teacher at PHS? One of mine was Katy Monroe. She was quite a lady, a graduate of FSU for Women and a great Latin teacher.  Honorable mentions have to go to Mabry, Butler, Harper, Beck and Bragg. What guy can forget Nita Perry(English).  Of course, my life was significantly impacted by Coaches Jim Scoggins, Jimmy Haynes and two State Football Championships.  Jim King

Wow! is the first word that comes to mind when I think about our fiftieth--and I am thinking about it nonstop, of course.  What a nice groupof people who have done marvelous things with their lives.

I had hemmed and hawed a bit about attending, especially in light of the fact that I missed all of the others, but I am so glad I came.  It was a delight from beginning to end, and I daresay everyone feels the same way.

Yes, I do want another one in 2015, God willing.  Where do I sign?

And thank you to the 10th power, Mary and Art and Joelle and the host of others who made these two days and two nights not to be ignored.  I can't remember whom I was talking to at the reunion, but I said, half-jokingly "Why are we having so much fun?"  Her reply was simply "We love each other."

I think that she hit the nail on the head.
