We have now worked out the details for our 65th Class Reunion!
Reunion Schedule
Friday, April 25. Reunion Dinner, Ballroom, Pensacola Yacht Club, 1897 Cypress St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
(Note: the Ballroom Entrance and Parking is to your left as you drive down the main entrance road.)
5:30 – 10:00 p.m. - Fun and Fellowship. Self-serve Buffet Dinner starting at 6:30. Cash Bar - all evening
Dress – DRESSY CASUAL
Saturday, April 26. Reunion Brunch, Auditorium, Azalea Trace Life Care Community, 10100 Hillview Dr., Pensacola, FL 32514. 10:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Fun and Fellowship will resume, along with a self-serve Buffet Brunch from 11:00-12:30, including coffee, orange juice, and water. A self-serve bar featuring Bloody Marys and Mimosas will be available; please place cash or check donations in a cash box by the bar to pay for these alcoholic drinks.
Dress – CASUAL
Directions to Azalea Trace: From the major intersection of East 9 Mile Rd. and University Pkwy., proceed north on University Pkwy. toward the University of West Florida. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Hillview Dr. Continue East on Hillview Dr. until you come to the Welcome Center for Azalea Trace. Tell the guard you are going to the Pensacola High School Reunion in the Auditorium. He will open the gate. Then proceed 1⁄2 block and turn left. Follow the road up a hill to the Azalea Trace campus. Just past two small parking lots, look for the Clubhouse sign and turn right into the parking lot in front of the Clubhouse (it has a large covered entrance); you may park anywhere. Enter the Clubhouse and walk toward the glass Atrium. (Bathrooms are on your right). Bear left past the Atrium, and turn left. Doors to Auditorium are on the left. (Note: If using a GPS to guide you, make sure it takes you on University Parkway to Hillview Drive; some GPS units will guide you to our back entrance, but it is closed to visitors.)
Reservations
The Friday Night Dinner will be $40 per person, and the Saturday Brunch will be $23 per person. Using the enclosed Reservation Form, you can make reservations for either event—and hopefully for both! Note: The Ballroom and Auditorium are handicap accessible.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel any reservations, please let us know as soon as possible. As long as we know in time, we can cancel the food reservation and refund the savings to you. Website (www.phs1960.com)
George Gaines continues to update our website with new information and photos sent to him by our Classmates. If you haven’t been there in a while, check it out. It will also be a great source for information about our 65nd Reunion.
