CITY ART MARKET
(Because Everybody's From Somewhere)

Pictured above is an image of a print of The Famous Drive-in that a friend received as a gift.  The artists used to live in Pensacola and much of their art centers around some of the city's landmarks.  Looking at their prints is like taking a walk down memory lane.  To quote from their website: "...the Paulsens create fine quality prints that chronicle American icons in all their originality and quirkiness.  A creative team since 1976, Sherry Camp Paulsen and nationally acclaimed illustrator, Larry Paulsen, bring their combined artistic ingenuity and craftsmanship together in the selection and depiction of these unique icons.  In many cases they restore their subject to its former splendor.  For others that are only fond memories, they bring them back to life altogether, such as the magnificent San Carlos Hotel in historic downtown Pensacola, Florida."

I asked their permission to put a link to their site here, thinking that perhaps some of you would be interested in obtaining one of their prints.  The smallest one is 4x6" which is matted to 8x10" for $22.00; a medium size of 7x9" is matted to 11x14" and is $32.00.  They accept orders by phone or through their website:  Click HERE to visit their site.  Below you will see some more examples of their work. (Click on the images for a better view.) You should recognize one of them as being Joe Gilchrist's Flora Bama. They have over 30 prints of Pensacola landmarks, so these are just a few.
