Classmate Profiles

Deceased classmates have been moved to the In Memoriam section of the website. Click HERE for a list of those classmates. With those exceptions, every senior classmate that appeared in the 1960 ANNONA has a profile here. Please follow the instructions below to find or create your profile and update your information. If, after reading the instructions, you are not able to access your profile, go ahead and create a new one and it will be merged with the old one.
1) Type your LAST name into the "search" box found below in the center of the page and enter. When your profile appears, you will see a notation on the right: "Is this You? Fill in your profile here." Click on "here" and a Registration Form will appear. Note: The default listing is by "name at graduation" and enter LAST name only, which for the ladies would be your maiden name. Please try to edit from the existing profile unless you did not appear in the graduating class in the 1960 ANNONA.
2) Choose a Username and Password. Both will be required if you need to edit your profile in the future so you should make a note of them. (If you forget, you can be sent a reminder through the website.)
3) Complete the registration form. Note: The website administrator has access to all of the information on the registration form, but none of your personal information will appear on the website unless you want it to.
4) Upload a recent ("now") photo to your profile by clicking on the "browse" or "choose file" button that appears below "now" and locate the image on your computer.
5) You must click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form to save the changes.
If you need help, please access the CONTACT US page found on the menu bar to the left, to ask for assistance.

Comment:
In the past 64 years, I've managed to stay busy. Went to the University of Alabama on swimming scholarship, then on to graduate school, and finished a doctorate at the University of Georgia. I was a college professor for 7 years (University of New Orleans, LSU Medical Center). Continued my research career in the private sector, working for the Gallup Organization as well as some other large multinational marketing research companies. Last "real job" was Director of Insights for Outback International. My work required extensive travel to Asia and Latin America and, yes, I got to eat a lot of steak! Since childhood, a big Bama football fan. Spent 6 years owning and operating country inn (Vermont). Lived in New Orleans, Lincoln (NE), Atlanta, Princeton, Germany (Koenigstein), Manhattan. Swam competitively until age 50, finished top 10 in nationals in multiple events--faster than when I swam for Crimson Tide in early 60's. Retired in 2013 and started Gaines Tactical Training, teaching defensive firearms and certifying firearms instructors. I've been married to my college sweetheart, Carol McKee (Zeta, PJC cheerleader), since 1965. She's been a rock; I can't imagine my life without her by my side. Like everyone else, I can't believe that almost 64 years have passed. Ouch! And so, here we are. Where did the time go? |

Comment:
After graduation, attended University of Florida, Gainesville, and PJC. My dad was transferred to South Carolina (Monsanto) in 1962 so I moved to Charlotte, NC to be close to my family. Married husband #1 in 1965, divorced in 1972. Married husband #2 in 1976 in Bucks County, PA. Traveled all over the globe. My husband is British and enjoys traveling to very remote destinations. I worked in the travel industry for over 40 years, first with Eastern Air Lines in Charlotte, NC, and later as a corporate travel agent in Charlotte, Philadelphia and Boston, eventually owning my own agency. Retired in 2005 and moved from Massachusetts to Lillian, Alabama, in 2010. We relocated to Pensacola in 2015, finally coming full circle. It is wonderful being home again and it has been especially rewarding reconnecting with old friends. I have truly enjoyed creating and maintaining our class website and I encourage everyone to send us any mementos you might find when cleaning out your drawers or closets. Old photographs, copies of Tiger Tales, any memorabilia of our days at PHS would be a welcome addition to our website. |
