Classmate Profiles
Deceased classmates have been moved to the In Memoriam section of the website. Click HERE for a list of those classmates. With those exceptions, every senior classmate that appeared in the 1960 ANNONA has a profile here. Please follow the instructions below to find or create your profile and update your information. If, after reading the instructions, you are not able to access your profile, go ahead and create a new one and it will be merged with the old one.
1) Type your LAST name into the "search" box found below in the center of the page and enter. When your profile appears, you will see a notation on the right: "Is this You? Fill in your profile here." Click on "here" and a Registration Form will appear. Note: The default listing is by "name at graduation" and enter LAST name only, which for the ladies would be your maiden name. Please try to edit from the existing profile unless you did not appear in the graduating class in the 1960 ANNONA.
2) Choose a Username and Password. Both will be required if you need to edit your profile in the future so you should make a note of them. (If you forget, you can be sent a reminder through the website.)
3) Complete the registration form. Note: The website administrator has access to all of the information on the registration form, but none of your personal information will appear on the website unless you want it to.
4) Upload a recent ("now") photo to your profile by clicking on the "browse" or "choose file" button that appears below "now" and locate the image on your computer.
5) You must click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form to save the changes.

I graduated from Queens College, Charlotte, NC, with a BA in Biology and married Stewart White, a Presbyterian minister. We served Lake Forest Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN, for almost 30 years. In 1985, when our oldest son was a senior in high school, I went back to school to become certified to teach, ultimately earning an MS in Science Education at the Univ. of Tenn. For 14 years I taught high school science (mainly Biology, but also Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physical Science) until I retired in 2000. Since then Stewart and I have had a wonderful time being grandparents to 5 granddaughters and 4 grandsons. 2 of our sons, their wives and 7 of our grandchildren live here in Knoxville, and our 3rd son, his wife and 2 children live a couple of hours west of us in Middle Tennessee. I love to teach. Since I am retired I get my teaching fix by "doing science", as they call it, with my grandchildren. and teaching adult Bible studies when I can. My youngest brother still lives in Pensacola, so I get there to visit occasionally. I do wish I could get there more often, but the 8 hour drive isn't as easy as it used to be! I am enjoying reconnecting with a number of our classmates on Facebook and checking all the time to see who is the latest to join. If you haven't joined, you need to - it's a fun experience. |

After graduation.... PJC then 4 years in the U.S. Army Security Agency (Massachusetts, Frankfort Germany, Malta GC) Finished at Univ of West Florida 1970 BS Marketing. Worked in wholesale, retail, computer center manager, Real Estate. In Human Resources (HR) at Univ of West Florida for 10 years, then HR for the Civil Service Board of Escambia County for 22 years until retirement. After a fight with cancer a few years ago, I am currently enjoying a revived life of good health and renewed energy through whole food nutrition. I celebrate a happy life, great family, the blessing of wonderful grown children, and the gift of beautiful grand kids. Life is grand. I enjoy eating lunch every week with a great group of guys from the Class of 1960.... we call ourselves The ROMEO's (Retired Old Men Eating Out) If you are ever in town, give us a call and come enjoy lunch and embellished stories from back in the day! NOTE: Since posting this information on our website, George suffered a serious stroke that left one side paralyzed and made speech very difficult.
