Classmate Profiles


 

Deceased classmates have been moved to the In Memoriam section of the website.  Click HERE for a list of those classmates.  With those exceptions, every senior classmate that appeared in the 1960 ANNONA has a profile here. Please follow the instructions below to find or create your profile and update your information.  If, after reading the instructions, you are not able to access your profile, go ahead and create a new one and it will be merged with the old one.  

1) Type your LAST name into the "search" box found below in the center of the page and enter.  When your profile appears, you will see a notation on the right: "Is this You? Fill in your profile here."  Click on "here" and a Registration Form will appear.  Note:  The default listing is by "name at graduation" and enter LAST name only, which for the ladies would be your maiden name.  Please try to edit from the existing profile unless you did not appear in the graduating class in the 1960 ANNONA.

2) Choose a Username and Password.  Both will be required if you need to edit your profile in the future so you should make a note of them.  (If you forget, you can be sent a reminder through the website.)

3) Complete the registration form.  Note: The website administrator has access to all of the information on the registration form, but none of your personal information will appear on the website unless you want it to. 

4) Upload a recent ("now") photo to your profile by clicking on the "browse" or "choose file" button that appears below "now"  and locate the image on your computer.

5) You must click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form to save the changes.

Comment: I have been married for 47 years.  Bill and I have 3 children:  Laura, 46, Bill III, 41, and Julie, 40.  We have 4 lovely granddaughters:  Jessica, 21, Bridgette, 11, Alyssa, 7 and Andrea, 2.  We've lived in Palm Beach County since 1966.



Before retirement I was a housewife until my youngest child was in high school. During that time I designed and manufactured costumes for ballet and theatre.


Then, I worked as a church secretary for several years and then as the department head of academic support at Palm Beach Community College.



Since retirement, we spend our time traveling on cruises, visiting children and last year we took our 11 year old granddaughter to Africa.



I am active at my church where I supervise the counting of contributions, serve on committees and sing in the choir.  I also enjoy reading, sewing and music.

Comment: General Engineering Design/Build Contractor (38 years).  Will work anywhere, any time. I still love motorcycles (2) and racing cars, 1970 Porsche 914-R (twin turbo 3.3 liter, 2200lbs).  My main accomplishment in the current recession ('08-'09) was $368k and $65k respectively, losses on sales!  Back to work in SoCal, so not too bad!  Best and most fun job to date, Japan, $350 mil for AFLAC.  Most life fun, Penny and I were in Florence, Italy, for three months last year and have been going there together for 29 years.  Ready to go back soon and will miss the reunion.  Names and addresses withheld for security reasons.  Will answer e-mail.  



Love and best to all in Class of 1960!  Probably shouldn't have painted that on the front of PHS in 8 ft tall letters!!  You know who participated.

Comment: After graduating from PHS, I attended Auburn University on a football scholarship.  I graduated from Auburn in 1964 in Business Administration.  While at Auburn I was a member of SAE Fraternity.  After graduation, I moved to Atlanta and worked in management with Atlantic Steel Company.  While in Atlanta, I met and married Ann in 1968.  We have been married for 41 years and have two children and four grandchildren.  In 1985, we moved to Knoxville, Tennessee.  I worked for Florida Steel now Gerdeau Ameristeel for 21 years as Manager of the Primary Steel mill until retiring in March of 2006.  My family and I enjoy spending time in Pensacola at our house on Innerarity Island.  My sister, Fran and her family also live in Pensacola.  I enjoy family activities, our grandchildren, golfing, traveling, going to the movies, fishing, most sports, hunting and many outdoor activities.

Occupation: Minister of Music (11 years), Bakery and Wedding business
Comment: Self taught in music, cake decorating, floral design, and wedding business.  Graduated from college at age 50, after raising 5 children and traveling the world with my husband in his military career.  Married to my husband for 48 years.  He is my hero and best friend.  Worked for an insurance comany and a local hospital; play music for weddings, funerals, and special occasions.  Current interests circulate around my beliefs in the Lord, my family, my bakery, and my wedding business.  Retired?  Never!  I may get old!!!
